as you can see from the video below i loan a Tobii dynavox i-12 to see if i could use it and to help with lose of mobility , ( that why ive not updated this site for a while) my mobility problem doesnt fit in your normal every day request for aac . on the form that always seems to be filled in .
i just dont fit. im not sure if its the stress of having to explan over and over again why i need the item . but i Fail to fit criteria for help most of the time which brings us to the review
I loan a tobii i12 from smart box hoping that it would give me back freedom to do things. we frist had to calibrate my eyes to the device . this is done by following a circle round the screen. there also a monitor to show you if your sitting in the right posistion.
once you have calibrated you can then either redo it or choose left or right eye .
you can also set up the speed and the size of the cursor.
on the i12 like the i12 + you can also use a switch to access the icons. most of my loan with the i 12 i either used a communicaton page , practiing playing colour match , jigswas or we were trying to get the infer red to operate the tv. as well as music
